World of Dogs Program -
This program is designed to educate and entertain attendees
about the wonderful world of dogs and to introduce the
many things that you can do with your dog. There will be
obedience demonstrations, agility , frisbee, drill team,
coursing demonstrations, flyball, rally obedience, training
demonstrations, dog tricks, muscial freestyle and much more! Demonstrations
by
Berks County Dog Training Club, and Kan Do K9's. The Berks County Therapy Dogs, Exter Township & Reading Police K-9’s, & Middlecreak Search & Rescue.
Parade of Breeds
- The Berks County Kennel Club will present an AKC Para de of Purebred Dogs on Saturday and Sunday at the Reading Pet Expo. See Championship dogs and talk to reputable breeders about what dog would be best for your family.
Berks County Kennel Club- will have a designated area for the weekend where they will have a Meet the Breeds on going throughout the day, alternating the breeds during different times. Breeder will be there to talk to attendees about their breeds. Their will be some grooming demonstrations and educational discussions on what to know when buying a puppy and dog laws and more!
They will also hold a Mock Dog Show in the Dog Arena to demonstrate and explain what goes on in a Dog Show. Be sure to visit the Berks County Kennel Club at the Expo!
Pet Costume Contest- will be held 6 pm on Saturday
in the Dog Arena.

Animal Rescue League of Berks County-will sponsor grooming demonstrations all weekend. Get grooming tips. Have your pet brushed out and nails clipped for a small donation to the ARL

Mid Atlantic Disc Dogs- See the high flying sport of K9
disc as K9 disc enthusiasts compete in a Disc Dog Competition.
The M.A.D. DOGS Club will hold demonstrations on Friday
with the compitition on Saturday and Sunday.

Rare and Ancient Breeds Dog Show: sponsored by Rarities Inc. See live dog show competition with both Rare and AKC Dogs competing for championship points. Rare dogs are dogs representing breeds from around the world such as Dogo Argentin, a big game hunting dog from Argentina and the Bergamasco Shepard Dog a herding dog originating in the Italian Alps. There are hundreds of Rare and Ancient breeds. The Rarities Dog Club recently joined with the North American Kennel Club making it possible for Rare Dogs and AKC dogs to compete for championship points at these shows. The Rodent Club Rat Show- hosted by The Rodent Club in Cecil County MD will hold a 2 day Rat Show at the Reading Pet Expo- an event for the entire family! On Friday there will be an informative seminar at 6 pm on how to show your rat.
