The Pet Costume Contest will be held on

Saturday  December 4 at 3:00 PM

There is no fee to enter the contest but everyone must

pay the admission fee to the show

Pets must be healthy, free from parasites and have all necessary shots.

Rainforest Reptiles Shows: Michael and Joanney Ralbovsky, founders and owners of Rainforest Reptiles are committed to educating the public about the natural world to improve the quality of our lives. Since 1993 Rainforest Reptiles has conducted educational interactive programs to teach respect for and educate people of all ages about animals and the importance of preserving the rainforests. Identified by Educate America as a valued educational and entertainment program for children, their shows are fun, informative and educational and you will have a chance to get up close to snakes, turtles, lizards, alligator and more!     Rainforest Reptile Shows newest addition is their innovative and fun mobile unit. The mobile unit gives the capability to teach an understanding of the natural world through various habitat and animal displays. A nominal fee will be charged to enter the mobile unit and see the reptiles up close including a very rare white (Albino) Alligator! Hypoerflite/Mad Dogs DiscDogathon :  The Mid Atlantic Disc Dogs will host a K9 Dog Disc Competition.-See the highflying sport of K9 Disc as K9 disc enthusiasts compete in a Disc Dog Competition. The M.A.D. Dogs Club will hold demonstrations and competitions on Saturday and Sunday. www.mad-dogs.org

Rare and Ancient Breed Dog Show: sponsored by Rarities Inc. See live dog show competition with both Rare and AKC Dogs competing for championship points. Rare dogs are dogs representing breeds from around the world such as Dogo Argentin, a big game hunting dog from Argentina and the Bergamasco Shepard Dog a herding dog originating in the Italian Alps. There are hundreds of Rare and Ancient breeds. The Rarities Dog Club recently joined with the North American Kennel Club making it possible for Rare Dogs and AKC dogs to compete for championship points at these shows. www.nakcdogshows.com

Piggyvilla: This unique educational and entertaining exhibit is a favorite at the Pet Expo.  See the pot-bellied pigs up close and personal in Piggyvilla where they will stage fun and informative performances throughout the weekend.

Alpaca Area: The softest, cutest, most cuddly critter that you will ever meet. You can see colorful, gentle alpacas, babies, yearlings and adults at the Illusion Ranch Alpaca Arena where they will stage fun, informative and “hands-on” performances throughout the weekend. What Knott Farms Petting Zoo:   What-Knott Farm has been a breeding farm since 1982, specializing in breeding miniature animals. Lancaster Kennel Club - members will be at the show all weekend to discuss Responsible Dog Ownership and answer questions about showing dogs in Conformation, Obedience, and other performance events. They will have obedience and agility demonstrations in the Dog Ring.

Parade of Breeds - Lancaster Kennel Club will present an AKC Parade of Purebred Dogs on Sunday at the Lancaster Pet Expo. See Championship dogs and talk to reputable breeders about what dog would be best for your family.
