The Metro NY Balloon & Music Festival has asked us to put together a Pet Pavilion, like their craft pavilion and home show pavilion.  We think it s a great opportunity for our vendors to introduce their company to more than 100,000 Long Islanders.

The festival takes place at Brookhaven’s Calabro Airport (Long Island, NY).  It was New York’s biggest event of the summer and attracted more than 100,000 attendees.  Hosted by the Town of Brookhaven and produced by RE/MAX of New York Inc. the state’s leading real estate franchise network.  The event fulfilled its mission to “Reach for the Sky” by offering a spectacular family friendly festival.

It is a three day event, August 8,9,10, 2008.  And the festival is open from 6am to 11pm.  Our hours are flexible- we will  open at 9am or 10 am, close at 8pm or 10pm…will decide on this closer to the event.

The Purina Incredible Dog Team will be doing performances all weekend at the Pet Pavillion along with Dog Training Demonstrations by Elite Animal Trainers of America.

HIGH-FLYING PURINA® INCREDIBLE DOG TEAM SET
TO PERFORM AMAZING FLYING DISC TRICKS AT
METRO NY BALLOON & MUSIC FESTIVAL!

St. Louis, MO -- The high-flying Purina® Incredible Dog Team, a collection of some of the world’s most athletic canines, will entertain fans at venues across the country throughout 2008. Cities they are set to perform in include: New York, Los Angeles, Memphis and Dallas, and they can also be seen at several state fairs, amusement parks and professional sporting events across the country.

On Friday, August 8th through Sunday, August 10th, the Purina Incredible Dog Team will be performing extraordinary acrobatic tricks right in your area at the Metro NY Balloon & Music Festival at Brookhaven Calabro Airoport with shows at various times throughout each day.  The Team offers crowds of all ages a chance to watch precision dog training at its best.
           
The Purina Incredible Dog Team is made up of a team of 7 trainers and more than 30 dogs. The team demonstrates Purina’s passion for pets by delighting crowds across the country with amazing freestyle flying disc routines.  These dogs are not only incredible, but also in excellent physical condition, whether they’re puppies, adults, or seniors. 

Utilizing a high-energy performance set to music, the trainers and their dogs entertain while also educating people about responsible pet care and how proper nutrition and training can help bring out the best in any dog, at any life stage.  The team stresses the “incredible” potential in every dog, which is reflected in a number of canine team members who were adopted at animal shelters and rescue groups around the country.  The athletic feats performed by the team include rolling back catches, two-legged balancing acts on the trainer’s feet and jumping nearly 10 feet in the air to snare a flying disc.
